Wigan Keeps The Faith
– The Galleries, Wigan

As part of its 2015 marketing strategy, The Galleries Shopping Centre in Wigan, tasked Raw with coming up with a way of increasing its online presence while translating this into footfall and creating strong stakeholder engagement.

Raw created a Northern Soul inspired viral video celebrating the town’s strong links with the dance movement. Pre-filming media and social media activity created a buzz in Wigan and a targeted PR campaign ensured that it was covered by all of the major local newspapers. The filming included the Mayor of Wigan, The Galleries staff, customers, Wigan & Leigh College performing art students, local soul night and ‘all-nighter’ dancers, children from the Northern Academy of Dance and professional dancers.
