To devise and implement a PR strategy that increased media coverage of the Centre and increased footfall during the summer holiday period, within a budget of £500.
Through working with key stakeholders Raw delivered a series of free summer events for children of all ages and created positive PR both before and after the events. The events, that came under the banner ‘Keel Row Kids’, included activities such as free urban dance classes, story time fun with Northumberland Libraries and wildlife workshops with Blyth Wildlife Rescue.
Over £35,000 of PR coverage was generated throughout the six week period
and the average YOY footfall increase was almost 5%.
Positive feedback was received from tenants and members of the community and dwell time is reported to have increased dramatically.
